Meet the Founders

Kayla Lewis

Co-Founder & Head of RF Prep Academy

Kayla Lewis is a dedicated political scientist at Wayne State University with nearly 10 years of experience in education. She has worked extensively with special needs children, served as an instructor at a private high school, and currently works as a Title 1 interventionist supporting a bilingual community.  Kayla’s deep understanding of educational policy and her hands-on experience has inspired her to create an online learning experience that focuses on students achieving their diploma at their own pace.

Tonio Sledge

Co-Founder of RF Prep Academy

Tonio Sledge is a seasoned entrepreneur and real estate investor who runs a successful real estate investment firm.  With a strong background in operations and nonprofit management, Tonio brings valuable expertise to his role by connecting with numerous companies and organizations.  His bookkeeping and management experience equips him  to oversee the logistical aspects of our school.
